Antigua and Barbuda December sees the return of the sailing yachts to historic Nelsons Dockyard in English Harbour, and glamorous Falmouth,
Caribbean home to the superyachts. The restaurants and bars return to life, and there are plenty of salty tales to tell. Highlights
of the festive season are the parties; the Christmas Day champagne party, on the dockyard lawn, with live reggae and steel-pan
music; and the old years night bash with fireworks to welcome the new year. Then there is the Nelsons Pursuit race on new
years eve, a very gentlemanly event starting and finishing off Fort Charlotte, overlooking the entrance to English Harbour,
open to sailing yachts of all classes from dinghies to superyachts. Nothing too exacting, just two to three hours of fun in
the sun. We have finished second and third in this event in recent years. Why not come and help us win this year? During
February, March and April, the Caribbean yacht racing season is in full swing, and Antigua hosts many prestigious events such
as the RORC Caribbean 600, Antigua Classic Regatta and Antigua Sailingweek. When the classics are in town the parties are
non-stop, and the yachts are a fabulous sight to behold. Beautifully restored, polished and gleaming thoroughbreds from a
bygone era. Vintage schooners, sloops, ketches, and yawls, together with the awesome classic J-class Americas cup yachts. A
little-known event is the Guadeloupe to Antigua race, to be held on April 22nd 2011. Historically, a feeder race for Antigua
Sailingweek, yet a thoroughly enjoyable, pleasant reaching sail from Deshaies up to English Harbour. The night before
the race, a banquet is held in Deshaies courtesy of the Conseil Regional de Guadeloupe, and followed by a similarly lavish
prizegiving at the Antigua Yacht Club. Come to Antigua and experience some of these world-class events. Watch all
the action from Sobriyah, and maybe participate in one or two of the races, then let us take you to some of Antigua and Barbuda's
paradise beaches to relax after all the partying.
The Grenadines Mustique Jazz and Bequia Blues Festival: January 24th-30th 2011. Organised by
Dana Gillespie, this festival is in it's 15th year. The world famous Basil's Bar hosts a week of Jazz and Blues in Mustique,
featuring a host of guest musicians, accompanied by the occasional resident who may just turn up and join in. The last weekend,
the Festival moves onto the beach in Bequia for the grand finale. Bequia Easter Regatta: April 1st-5th 2011. Famous for it's blend of local boat racing, yacht racing, and
Bequia hospitality, this colourful low-key Regatta has taken place for as long as anyone can remember, and people still come
from all over the world to experience it. Oyster
Regatta Grenada: April 12th-15th 2011. Hosted in Grenada for the first time. Four days of gentlemanly racing; a lay-day in
which to relax; with lavish dinner parties, and fun beach barbecues, ashore each evening. We have a good pedigree in
these events, having won outright in Antigua in 2007, and finishing a close second in 2009. Come and join us for this exclusive
event. Carriacou Summer Festival:
July 28th-Aug 1st 2011. An informal and fun summer Regatta for Carriacou Sloops, Work-boats, and Sailing Yachts. Nothing is
taken too seriously and the rules are only there to be broken. Held on one of the least developed islands. A gentle reminder
of how the Caribbean used to be. Carnval
in Grenada: Aug 7th-8th 2011. Experience the colour and flavour of a true Caribbean Carnival; Jouve and Mas processions; Reggae
and Steel Pan Music. On the Spice Island, one of the gentlest of all the Caribbean Islands. We can tailor a charter around any of these events, and if you have more time, why
not make it a fortnight? You can fly into St Lucia and out of Grenada, visiting all the Grenadine Islands in between.

The St Barth's Bucket: March 24th-27th 2011. A Regatta for superyachts of over 100 feet (30 metres) in length, taking
place over four days in St Barth's. Where else can you see classics like Velsheda and Windrose taking on modern gazelles such
as Leopard and The Maltese Falcon. This is the most prestigious event in the St Barth's calendar, Caribbean playground of
the St Tropez set. Les Voiles de St Barth's: April 5th-10th 2011. The new regatta in the Caribbean Circuit. For all comers, from Classic
Sloops to Megayachts. Six days of Racing and Partying; ending with a Beach Bash on Anse du Coulombier. What better
way to view these spectacles than from the deck of Sobriyah, and afterwards how about a cruise to savvy St Martin, or the
paradise beaches of Anguilla. Or perhaps we can tempt you into a one-way charter from Antigua, stopping in beautiful Barbuda
on the way? St Lucia St Lucia Jazz Festival: April 30th - 8th May 2011.
Sun, sand, sea...and Jazz! The premier Jazz Festival in the Caribbean, now in it's 20th year. All the Jazz legends have
performed here over the years, and many have said this is the most beautiful venue that they have ever performed at. Set on
Beautiful Pigeon Island, connected to the mainland by a sandy causeway, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, and overlooked by
historic Fort Rodney. By far the easiest and quickest way to get there is in our tender straight from the yacht to the box
office. One of the supporting events is Soufiere Jazz, in the south of
the island. Nestling under the gaze of the majestic Pitons, Soufriere is the epitome of village Jazz at a number of venues
around the town including; Jazz on the waterfront, Sulphur Srrings Jazz and Jazz at Fond Gens Libre. It would be easy to linger a week in St Lucia taking in some of the events, and
if time allows, another week to relax and cruise around the Grenadines.
